Douglas Laing's King of Scots Blended Scotch Whiskey was first created in 1886. Today, more than 135 years later, Fred Laing, Master Blender and 2nd generation of the family business, marries fine spirits to create this crown jewel of Blended Scotch Whiskies.

Careful selection of casks and expert blending of spirits create the exceptionally rich and sweet King of Scots, fit for kings, for their court, for all the people! Douglas Laing's history with King of Scots reaches back to 1948, as one of the first whiskeys sold by Fred Douglas Laing. Premium Single Grain Scotch Whiskeys are combined in a larger than usual proportion with aged Malt Whiskies, resulting in a golden, magnificent whisky.

On the nose we find notes of toffee, spices and citrus. The taste is initially sweet with ripe fruit, toffee and vanilla before developing into a spicy aftertaste. Without cold filtration, it is bottled at 40 alcohol degrees.
